WHAT HAPPENED IN MY DAY 5 TO DAY 7 GM DIET?
Hi guys,
Its been a long time since i last blog.
Anyways, as promised here is the continuation of my kwento about my GM Diet Experience.
Last October 24, 2013 which is my Day 5 in the diet i have to consume Beef and Tomato. That day was so hard for me as I am in Nueva Ecija to attend an official meeting with my client. For breakfast I had fresh tomato and a beef loaf, wala akong makitang beef for breakfast kaya settled ako for this. For lunch, I ate beef steak and for dinner i consume a burger.
For Day 6, which is the day for Beef and Vegetable. We ate at Yabu for Lunch, i don't know what I ate then but i consumed more of their Miso Soup and Cabbage. For Dinner, I ate the Beef Steak and Steamed Kangkong that I ordered from Sexy Chef. The taste was good pero since di na talaga ko malakas kumain di ko siya halos naubos.
On my Day 7, nagpahinga ako ng bongga as in maghapon lang akong nakahiga. Pinagdrive ko lang si Nate ang baby ko sa pagpasok niya sa school and waited for him for 45minutes tapos umuwi na agad kami para makapagpahinga ako. I still followed what was the food allowed for the day. I had Beef and Vegetable plus brown rice for lunch and for dinner I just ate vegetable and fruits.

During my Day 6, I had fever. Some say na dahil daw ung sa pag didiet ko pero i don't think related siya dun. Overfatigue siguro caused i drive from Quezon City around 12:00 A.M of Thursday reached my In-law's house around 3:30A.M. then I have to wake up at 9:00 A.M. to leave for Gapan at 10:00A.M. since i will be meeting my client before lunch, attend the meeting then drive home to QC after.
After seven (7) days of GM Diet from 179.6lbs. my weight becomes 156lbs sa timbangan namin sa bahay and 162lbs sa timbangan namin dito sa office. ang galing diba.
Since nagkasakit ako and until now my mild attack pa of Acid Reflux di ko na muna pinafollow ng strict ang GM Diet but I still watch what I am eating.
Here are what I noticed after I tried GM Diet:
1. Hindi na ko malakas kumain.
2. Kaya ko na maresist ang temptation. Sometimes I cheat pero di ganung kagrabe. Tikim-tikim lang kapag di talaga maiwasan.
3. Mabilis na kong mabusog as in konting food lang busog na ko, unlike before na talagang walang tigil ang bibig ko sa pagkain.
4. Since inaatake nga ko ng Acid Reflux and I have to take a medicine 30 minutes before breakfast I have no choice but to eat breakfast na talaga, pero still i preferred lighter meal. No rice pa din.
7. Di na ganung kalaki ang tiyan ko.
I have yet to achieve my desire weight. Akala ko kasi patuloy na akong magiging malaki as in.
If you guys can handle it, i can say GM Diet is worth a try. Pero siempre if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable sa first day or second day palang wag muna ninyong pilitin. Kailangan niyo kasing iprepare ang sarili niyo as in your whole self before starting. So goodluck guys.

LOOSING WEIGHT! GENERAL MOTORS DIET.
Hello guys!
Sorry been out for quite sometime and hindi na naman ako nakapagblog. Pero promise before the end of this month mababasa niyo na talaga ang aking kwento about Expoloration in HK.
Anyways, I have a kuwento guys about my adventure now. I am now trying this so called GM Diet. It was recommended to me by my OB-Gyn when I visited her two weeks ago. She told me to search it in the internet and give it a try.
So ang lola niyo, masyadong masunurin kaya mega research agad and after a week, decided to try it. Kaya ayun last Sunday I finally decided to give it a try and as of this writing I am now in my fourth day and so far ok naman pa ang pakiramdam ko.
To give you a brief information about this Diet;
General Motors Diet or commonly known as GM DIET was actually been around for 28 years already. It was founded for the employee of General Motors. It is a 7-day diet plan and according to what I have read it actually promise was to hit 10-17 pounds weight loss per week.
The GM Diet is a seven-day weight loss management plan that consist mainly of fruits and vegetables and restricted amount of meat and you may want also to try the Wonder Soup that was suggested which you can have during the whole diet period. To know more about GM Diet you can visit this site: http://www.gmdietworks.com.
Here is the meal plan that you need to follow, in case you want to try GM DIET:
DAY 1 - All fruits day. It is advise that you consume more of watermelons and cantaloupe. No banana for the day. On the first day of the diet plan your body will be subjected to detoxification.
For my Day 1 - i had mix fruits which were composed of apple, cantaloupe, grapes, pears and orange. I started my day by jogging-walking at Sampalok Lake. I made sure that I drunk a lot of water at least 8-10 glasses. I did not prepare the wonder soup as I feel I cannot consume the same.
DAY 2 - All vegetables day. You may start the day with a large baked potato with a pat of butter on top and then for lunch and dinner the meal must be lighter.
My Day 2 was indeed a challenge to me. It was the birthday of one of the partner in the office and he treated the office staff for a buffet lunch. So imagine how hard it is for me to control the temptation of not eating those delicious food. But fortunately I was able to handle the situation.
For my breakfast, I consumed a cup of mashed potato - no sugar and milk added. I just put salt to taste and combined it with 1 1/2 glass of warm water I also had a cup of black coffee (no cream, no sugar as prescribed by the plan). In between breakfast and lunch I consumed mixed carrots, green peas and corn which was cooked only in water and then for lunch I had vegetable salad composed of lettuce, cucumber, cabbage and tomato together with it I had mushroom saute in garlic. Come dinner time I had mixed vegetables "chopsuey" which i just saute in a small amount of olive oil and put some salt to taste.
In my Day 3, I started my day with mixed vegetables - actually there is a little cheat on it as said I was not the one who personally prepared the said vegetables hence an ordinary oil and seasoning was used in cooking it but still it was vegetable. (hihihihihi) In between breakfast and lunch, I had grapes and apple. For Lunch, I ate mixed vegetables and had apples and grapes on the side. During merienda, i ate orange and grapes.
At Dinner, my two anak-anakan who are both engaged and soon to be married fetch me at the office. They brought me to Chocolate Kisses Restaurant at Roces Avenue, Quezon City. Kamusta naman di ba? Puro high-calorie food yata ang nakita ko sa menu nila plus cakes bawal yan for the day. Buti na lang they have salads in their menu so i ordered Mixed Green Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing and Cream of Mushroom Soup (another cheat for the day - but at least it was still vegetable, i just removed the crouton toppings. Para daw hindi boring ang food ko Mhelai and Steph put some grapes on top of the Mixed Green Salad. So here's what I have for dinner:
I had my midnight snack too. I ate an apple and few pieces of grapes. Alam niyo naman kailangan ko ng enerhiya hanggang kinabukasan kasi my work called for it.
DAY 4 - BANANA, MILK and VEGETABLE, SOUP. According to the internet, Day 4 is the easiest to prepare.
I started my day by consuming one banana paired with glass of 0% FAT Milk. Wala kong mabiling Skim milk kasi kaya i settled for that. I will try to look for one later for my dinner and midnight snack siguro.
At 10:00 A.M. - I ate one piece of banana, sliced into pieces on milk. For Lunch I met a friend so it is another struggle to me buti na lang Kenny Rogers Restaurant have this Healthy Option food. I ordered their Salad and Soup Meal. Another cheat, i have to ate the soup, which is a chicken noodle soup, but i did not consume the noodles and the meat included in that soup. I forgot to take a picture of it. nakakahiya kasi sa kausap naming client. (hehehehe)
Di pa tapos ang Day 4 ko. currently I am in my Day 4 ngaun. Will consume another bowl of banana and milk in a while para mabusog naman ako. hahahaha.
For Day 5 to Day 7 here are the foods that your need to consume while on the plan.
Day 5: FEAST DAY! Beef and tomatoes. You may eat up to 20oz of lean beef today. (Steak, Roast, Ground Beef...) And 5 whole tomatoes. Drink an additional 2 glasses of water today.
For the fifth day I plan to order my food at the Sexy Chef. Maybe di ko masunod tong diet na to on that day pero i will try my best na masunod pa din ang food plan for the day siguro with a little cheat pa din.
Day 6: Beef and Vegetables. Today you may eat an UNLIMITED amount of beef and vegetables.
I already ordered my food at SEXY CHEF. Just waiting for their reply. I will have Korean Beef Barbeque with Sesame Kangkong; Garden Vegetable Soup; Greek Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette and Salisbury Steak with Cauli Mashed Potato. That will be my lunch and dinner on Friday. If kulangin, i will buy na lang salad outside.
Day 7: Brown rice and vegetables. Eat to your hearts content. Drinking fruit juice on this day is also encouraged.
For Day-7 since asa bahay naman ako nito I will just prepare my own food na lang. Magbibilin na lang ako sa mommy ko na bilhan niya ako ng gulay for that day para un ang kakainin ko.
I still have three (3) more days to go. Kakainin ko din sila in time. Seven days sacrifice lang naman to. I been a food lover all my life. kaya nga ko tumaba ng ganito. Sa hindi nakakakilala sa akin i'm sure wala lang sa kanila kung gaano ako kalaki ngaun kasi they are probably thinking ganyan talaga na kong kalaki. Pero hindi eh, payatot ako before, i have "puson" na before pero hindi siya ganung kalaki. Never did I experience na may magtanong sa akin before if buntis daw ba ko. Ngaun madaming beses na kong napagkamalan na buntis. I gave birth already through a ceasarian operation and hindi naman ako umaasa na babalik ako sa dati kong katawan.
I am doing this just to feel lighter.
To give you an idea how "payatot" i am before i gave birth. Here's my pictures

JOURNEY OF LOVE: FIRST EVER PRENUPTIAL SESSION.
Hi guys!
Yesterday is a holiday right? How do you spend your holiday?! Hope you all enjoy it.
Ako!! Masaya ako!! I feel fulfilled.
This is not a typical holiday for me. This is the one of the most memorable holidays that I had. This date marked our first step to our new career. hehehe. New career talaga mga mothers. I'm now into this so called event coordination - planning and as a pioneer project, we have as our first client my friend.
Yesterday, we had their prenuptial/engagement session. We were blessed with a good weather. Mild sunshine was upon us. We all had fun during the session. As in tawa lang kami ng tawa. Ang gaan naman kasing katrabaho nila Teej and Melanie of DREAMECHANICS Event-FilmMaker our photographers and ni Boombee Bartolome of BEAUTYANDTHEBEE our HMUA. They will also be the official P/V and HMUA on the wedding itself.
Teej and Melanie are so professional. I thought they will just send someone to take care of the photo shoot but I was wrong, they were there at the venue, themselves, and they are the one who took the shots. There tandem was so amazing. I can't wait to see the whole sets of photo from them.
It was nice to finally meet Boombee in person too. She was really talented, her work was fabulous and I really love what she has done with my friend. Maganda na ung kaibigan ko pero mas lalo pa niang pinaganda and take note napaka maalaga niya. She always make sure na ok ang appearance ng couple para talagang maging maganda ang outcome ng prenup.
These guys never failed my expectations. Hindi ako napahiya sa friend ko when I recommend them to her. Kaya one thing is for sure, if someone will ask for recommendation, irerecommend ko kayo ulit. Una kayo sa listahan ko.
Honestly, we never had a formal meeting regarding the details of what will happen to the prenup session. Upon hearing from my friend, the bride that the prenup session should be held during weekdays and definitely she wants me to be with her, I instructed her to contact Teej and Boombee and ask them if they are free come October 15 knowing that it is a holiday and it falls on a weekday. (talking about timing diba) Pumayag naman sila. So, we push through as plan.
We arrived at Alpadi Estates in Antipolo City around 2:30 P.M. Immediately, we prepared the set-up. Excited lang kami.
Here is a sneak preview of the prenup session, shots are from my phone lang muna:
Per request of my friend. But I will definitely feature again in this blog the official set of photos of their e-session as soon as i get there approval to finally reveal who they are.
To my friend and to his H2B, thank you for trusting me and my BFF Angel to handle the details of your prenuptial session as well as your upcoming Wedding this December. Thank you for believing in our capabilities despite knowing that you will be our pioneer project.
I am so excited for the big event. I'm sure maiiyak talaga ko.

CATCHING UP TIME WITH BFF AT 6750 STARBUCKS AND OUR EVENING WITH PAPAJACK!!
Hi guys! Late post na din ito. This happened last Sept.25.
The oldest and first starbucks store in the Philippines.
At the parking area BFF saw two vintage cars parked.
Here's BFF Angel photos with those vintage cars:
After BFF Angel's photo shoot (hihihihihi) we proceeded to Starbucks. Ordered our drinks and of course hindi pede mawala ang magpapicture for souvenirs.
and here what i saw in the Instagram account of my BFF.
You are always welcome mare.. Till our next trip to another Starbucks Store. (hihihihi)
Madaming customers when we visited Starbucks 6750 kaya di kami masyadong nakapagpicture ni BFF. Pero to give you guys an idea how cozy the ambiance of the newly renovated Starbucks 6750, here are some photos i grabbed from there facebook account.
Oh di ba ang ganda at napaka cozy talaga..
After Starbucks... We went to MBC Bldg. which is besides Star City in CCP Complex to visit Papajack.... OO..... You are reading it right. Si PAPAJACK on TLC ng 90.70 Love Radio. (hihihihihihi)
We stayed with Papajack until closing of his show. Fanatic?!?
mani. (hehehehehe)
Till next time BFF!!

BREAKFAST AT DINNER TIME AT ALLY'S ALL-DAY BREAKFAST..
Few weeks ago, BFF Angel (remember, siya ung friend ko,who encourage me to have my own blog) was telling me na we should try daw ung mga restaurants at Maginhawa St., Quezon City. According to her, nafeatured daw ung mga resto dun sa show ni Kris Aquino and mukhang masarap naman daw and worth a try. So, after several days I gave in to her request.
Last September 25, one Wednesday evening, I texted her and told her na gusto ko lumabas and dine out.
So we headed to Maginhawa St., kamusta naman nakadalawang ikot yata kami within the Sikatuna dahil pareho namin hindi alam kung saan kami pupunta. We wanted to try ALLY'S ALL-DAY BREAKFAST, but my talking GPS whom i named ANDROIDA was not giving us the concrete direction on how to get there. After a few minutes naman and by using our human instinct on directions, we were able to get there.
At first, nagdalawang isip kami kung dun nga ba kami mag dinner, paano naman may nagshooting sa labas ng restaurant ang TV5 Goodmorning Club and si BFF Angel ayun nagbago ng isip kasi daw may camera. hahahahaha!!!!
So umalis kami sa place. Then, we saw this restaurant named Gayuma ni Maria.
So after few kaartehan, (hehehehe) we agreed na babalik kami sa original plan namin and that was ang i-try ang food sa Ally's All-day Breakfast. We ate at ALLY's ALL-DAY BREAKFAST. It is located at # 50 Malingap St., Brgy. Sikatuna, Village, Quezon City. True enough, they offer an array of typical and not so typical breakfast food.
Here's there menu: (photocredit: ally's all-day breakfast facebook account)
I had there Baked Honey Garlic Chicken it comes with ice tea.. (Php 180.00)
While, BFF Angel had there Classic Beef Tapa it comes with ice tea. (Php 130.00)
For our dessert we had there Blueberries and Cream Signature Pancakes. (Php 220.00)
The food were great. The price of the food are quite reasonable.
The place was a bit small. It can accommodate i think only 20-25 customers at a time. They are open from 6AM to 8PM but i think you can stayed there even beyond that time. We actually finished our food at around 9:00P.M.
There service is also good. The restaurant's staff are friendly and accommodating. The waiting time is also quite reasonable.
We left the place full and satisfied. Opps, of course before we finally leave the place we had our photos taken.
Anyway for my OOTD that day. I am wearing: Blazer from Giordano; Dress from Mango.

PART 1: HONGKONG-MACAU DAY 1 - FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIP - GETTING TO HONGKONG
Hi! After our Hongkong Trip kasi naging super busy na coping up with deadlines sa work.
So eto na ang long overdue kwento ko about our trip in Hongkong.
The day before we left Laguna for Hongkong, the weather is not that good. May bagyo plus sa Hongkong nakataas ang signal no. 8. Kamusta naman un! Every now and then i kept on texting hubby kung anong lagay ng panahon dun. I was praying na sana naman maging ok ang first out of the country tour namin.
Come, August 15, 2013, we arrived at CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at around 4 a.m., our flight is at 7:45 A.M. The usual processed we checked-in, paid our travel tax and terminal fee.
Alam niyo ba na sa dinami dami ng binasa kong blogs I was caught unaware na kapag beneficiary ka pala ng OFW you are entitled to almost 50% discount of travel tax.
We arrived Hongkong International Airport at exactly 9:45A.M. Mix emotion ang lola niyo. Kinakabahan ako kasi hindi ko alam kung anong dapat namin iexpect sa bagong lugar na yun plus makikita ko na si hubby after more than one (1) year.
I wasn't able to take our picture sa airport kasi nga diba bawal siya. Ayoko naman mahuli ang lola niyo sa airport. hahaha. so wala na lang picture picture there. Aside from this picture at the train that will lead you to the arrival hall:
As stated in the blogs, pag dating namin ng arrival hall, bumili agad ako ng octopus card. It is worth 150HKD. 100HKD ung load niya and 50HKD ang deposit which you can refund upon returning the card. (photocredit: google)
Our first family picture after one and one half (1 1/2) years of not seeing each other:
From the airport, my original plan was to take A21 bus to Nathan Road but hubby insisted na mag Airport Express Train daw kami. No choice ang lola niyo so pumayag na lang ako. They are not lying when they said that it is express. Express talaga mga lola, in 20mins yata andun na kami sa Kowloon Station and took the cab going to XI HOTEL at Minden Avenue. Since maaga pa kami to check-in, we just left our baggage sa Hotel Lobby and go straight to Cafe de Coral at Chungking Mansion.
Here's what I and Nate have for lunch: (hindi siya mukhang lunch. para siyang breakfast. hihihihi!!)
The food was good. Ok na din sa taong nagugutom. Imagine ang last na kain pa namin was at 2:00 a.m. of that day pa at 11:30 A.M. na nung kumain kami ulit.
After our lunch, hubby have to go back to his work at New Territory. Me, my mom and my son were left in Nathan Road. Initially the plan was to go to Nan Lian Garden, however, since the weather was not that fine (malakas ang hangin at parang uulan) We decided to just roam around Nathan Road habang hinihintay namin mag check-in time.
At 2:00 p.m. we were able to check-in. After taking some rest we went to my hubby's place of work at New Territory. From East Tsim Sha Tsui Station we have to take the train going to Teun Mun. We alighted at Tin Shui Wai and tranferred to Light Rail going to Tin Shui.
We had a funny and embarrassing experienced sa pag lipat namin from MTR to Light Rail. All the while, I thought when i swipe our octopus card sa pag labas sa Tin Shui Wai Station we need not do anything.
A chinese woman was in front of the line papasok ng MTR, when she swipe her card the door opens, i was waiting na magsara siya ulit before i swipe mine but another chinese at my back was telling me i swipe ko na daw, so i did, pero sa tingin ko hindi binasa ng system yung card, pero sabi nung chinese na nasa likod ko go na daw so go naman ang lola mo, pagdating namin gn East TST station, hindi na ko makakalabas. hahahaha. I end up talking to the customer service agent to let me get out of the station.
To make sure we make use of our time, kahit pagod na kami dumiretso na kami nung araw na yun sa AVENUE OF STARS. Ang kwento see it on my next post.
So eto na ang long overdue kwento ko about our trip in Hongkong.

Am I bad?
Haist, I feel so guilty.
As in mahinang palo lang everytime may mali siyang gagawin.

HONG KONG PLANNING. EXCITED FOR THIS VACATION
Last November 2012, when Cebu Pacific celebrated its 7th year Anniversary, they sell their ticket for PHP 7.00.. Yes mga lola as in 7.00 pesos kahit saang destinasyon. Upon seeing that Fare Sale siempre ang lola ninyo nag palpitate at nag hanap agad ng dates kung saan merong seat sale pa Hong Kong..
My husband is working as a private care in Hong Kong. His contract is for 2 years and to date 1 yr and 4 months na siyang andoon. When my husband told me na mukhang di siya mabibigyan ng bakasyon after ng contract niya. (calling it really a blessing. hehehee.)
So after kong makakita ng date na pede akong mag leave. I immediately booked our tickets. My mom will join us in this trip. Imagine I only paid P7,000+ para sa roundtrip ticket naming tatlo. (so happy)
Fast forward to today. In less than one (1) month, hello Hong Kong na. At this point may accommodation na kami. After almost two (2) months of searching.... hahahahaa (ang tagal anoh) nakapagdecide na din ako kung saan kami mag stay.
Mahal daw ang mga accommodation sa pupuntahan namin and talagang malilit daw ang mga space dun kaya the searching was indeed a challenge. Ang dami ko kasing dapat iconsider.. May kasama akong bata and the place should be convenient sa kanya.
At first, the plan is to stay in a hostel, katwiran ko kasi matutulog lang naman kami but unfortunately ung mga hostel na ok ang reviews based sa tripadvisory wala na available sa dates ng travel namin.
Buti na lang i found a 3 stars hotel according to tripadvisory na may promo rates for August. I immediately went to its website and viola... they have rooms available for my travel date. After discussing with hubby and reading all the reviews I decided to book that hotel na.

We will be staying at XI HOTEL. Price wise hindi siya ganun kamahal because of the 20% Early Bird Promotions that they have. I will just be adding a few bucks of penny in our original budget for hostel. I booked a Superior Twin Room for us. According to its website XI Hotel is just six (6) minutes walk from the A21 14th bus stop (Middle Nathan Road) or two (2) minutes walk from Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hotel. I will be blogging more about the hotel upon my return from Hong Kong. (",)
I have yet to finish our itinerary for that trip although I already have a draft of what we will do for our week long vacation. I'll post it here once i'm done and give you feedback if nagawa namin na sundin ang itinerary na ginawa ko sa pagbabalik ko. Pero to give you ideas on what places are we going to visit at HK, they are as follows: Nan Lian Garden, Disneyland (of course di ko ito kayang palampasin), OceanPark; The Peak; Ngong Ping Village; Maddame Tussauds and will have a short side trip to Macau.

Tiring Thursday!!
Literally this day is so tiring. I have to go to Gapan, Nueva Ecija to accompany a client in her Mediation proceedings before the DAR Office. We left Quezon City at 8:30A.M. and reached our destination around 11:00 A.M.
The meeting took 4 hours of my life.... and walang nangyari.. haist ang hirap talaga na pilitin minsan ang mga tao na mag-agree sayo but I honestly respect their decision will get back to them on July 16, 2013 hopefully by that time mag OK na sila.
We reached QC at around 7:30P.M. and because the travel was so tiring I felt as sleep and yun I woke up around 2:00A.M. na in the morning.

How this started?
Teka. Paano nga ba to nagsimula? Honestly, hindi talaga ako masyadong mahilig magsulat. Mahilig lang ako magbasa and I was inspired by this blogger, Mommyfluer. You can see her site here. Tuwang-Tuwa ako sa mga blogs niya simple yet full of nice thoughts. Naging stress reliever ko na ang site and even recommend her site sa mga friends ko. Until one day my bestfriend Angela told me, here it goes..
Angel: mare bakit di ka din magblog? You don't need to write purely in English. Just right from your heart.
Angel is very supportive. She's always there when I need a shoulder to cry on.
Months passed by with her still encouraging me to write. Nakulitan na siguro ko. Hahaha!!! Kidding.. Naisip ko lang ok din pala magsulat at least I can share thoughts with you guys too..
So eto I am officially starting my blog.
